Bumble bees hold a fascination for me.  The Bee is part of the Ferguson crest.

My other hobby is gardening.  Thus far my favorite garden picture is:     Eaton Garden

The beauty in this image can brighten any day.

6 months ago I discovered a new trait about myself.  That trait is learning about minerals.  This self discovery was made on a long nature walk.    Life, stress, and everything had my spirit so heavy.  Reconnecting with nature always helps me find courage to face any adversity.

Forgive my simple page.  Yet I don’t bother with exhausting geek stuff.  My life is that of a daily house wife.  Take the kids to school, parent teacher meetings, etc.

Gavin is the exciting one.  He travels, geeks out on technology, has circles of friends.

Sure I have dreams and ambitions, yet time and money never seem at my disposal.  So life treads on.  My page is just my way of saying I’m here.

Yet hope prevails as that is the motivator of us all.

I believe this is a picture of a mineral specimen called Vesuvianite.  No I don’t have it, yet find this picture fascinating.

           This gem is called Idocrase.

Gem names Andesine, Labradorite, and Andorite.  Yes they are spelled correctly.  This is my favorite gem of all.  The color brings warmth, love, depth, courage, sincerity, admiration, and balance.

For all the gems, minerals, and rare specimens, want one gem more than anything.

Gavin told me March is also his Grand Parents anniversary month.  Maybe one day I’ll get the honor of meeting them.  Thus far it has been impossible due to limited finances.  Then again want to meet each and every one of them.

I was born in Missouri.  I’m the youngest of 5 siblings.  Due to unfortunate circumstances lost my entire family by the age of 2.  At the age of 5 ½ was adopted by the best parents anyone could ask for.

Growing up I always knew they were of Scottish Irish lineage.  Why is this so important?  My answer is they are everything to me.  As a Christmas present in December 2000 grandma gave me a cute little pendant.  Even upon first glance thought it was dainty, pretty, and puzzling.  Upon further research discovered that it was the old Ferguson family crest.  What was even more interesting is the history of the clan.  Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Aunts  & Uncles, did not even know.  However the philosophy was still richly embedded in each of us.

Thus my point to those that say the past does not matter.  Each of us can learn, forgive, trust, and make strides to better others.  I have found that many European families don’t discuss the family lineage.  Please break with that notion.  As the current we & they mentality does no one any good.  Take pride in yourself, your family, kinship.  Make your voice be heard in a positive way.  Positive leadership combined with everyday people of the world might one day make a change for the better.

My view of foreign politics is each of them is in a great big pissing match.

Note:  The tails crossed is very iconic.  They each are different but are fighting for masculine supremacy.

Picture is of  ‘Clash Of The Time Lords” dragon collection.

None of them really seem to give 2 cents, about the voice of the people they claim to serve.  Bush was NOT elected by the people.  He manipulated the system.  (Yes I can prove that, so it’s not slander!)  Note: to all those overseas don’t put all Americans in the same lot as him, as that would be unfair.

That being said, I don’t think all people from India are backstabbing, pocket lining jerks like Mitchell Habib.

Yes it’s me in front of a camera!  I have always been camera shy.  Not sure why.  Gavin has certainly encouraged me to be more daring and outgoing.  Oh the things you probably don’t want to know!  Like his whispering naughty thoughts in my ear while at dinner.  But at alas I was raised as the good Catholic girl and said only yes dear.  And then little me did nothing what so ever to fuel the fire.   I can’t even hold a straight face on that one!
