Mark & Char Blauser

These are my friends Mark and Char.  They live in Norman still and Mark is a high school teacher (poor guy), but he likes it.  He teaches English and seems to really like his job in the hood of Oklahoma City *grin* just teasing mark.   This picture is the only one i have of them both right now.  They look like they are going to kill each other, but they aren't...they just play alot.  Anyway, i have known Mark since fall of '94 (right about the same i time i met James) and we have been friends since.  Right at the beginning of the school year of '94 and there was a water gun fight going on so I grabbed mine and joined the fun.  Mark and I chased wach other for a good while before we both collapsed from exhaustion.  By the time we got back to the dorms we were soaked.  It was fun though :-)  Mark and I are working together on the Novel that I'm writing.  We have very different writing styles but Mark is an excellent writer, far better than I'll ever be.  Right now Mark is helping me set the story up and work out plot holes and come up with imagery for the different scenes, of which he is fantastic at.   He is a master of description and has one of the strongest imagainations i have ever seen, he is second only to Marisa in that catagory.
Charmaine I met a couple years later in fall of '96 I believe.  She's a military brat too, just of the army instead of navy like me.  We became good friends during that fall after i gave her a concussion while we were working at the dorms for the Haunted House that we helped put on.  Long story, but the short form is we had a guillotine exhibit going and i was killing young ladies of which char was one of and she hit her head too hard on the plank...giving her a slight concussion.  It wasn't my fault, REALLY, but it was a bitch trying to explain to my boss that I really wasn't at fault since I worked for Housing at the time and char was a student.
In '97 they honored me by allowing me to be the best man for Mark at their wedding.  I took mark to meieval times in dallas for his bachelor party since he really isn't into strippers and we had a great time although i wish that I had taken pictures of the event.   Since that time Char and have become close friends, not always seeing eye to eye thereby causing little tiffs between us but her willingness to not back down as earned her a lot of respect from me.  She  is a strong woman and doesn't take any crap off anyone which I admire greatly.
