This (the tall black guy) is my friend James Brown, the Godfather of soul.  This was taken at a Star trek convention that we went to in Tulsa .  Next to him is Timothy Zahn.  Author of the Heir to the Empire series.
I have known the Big lug since fall of '94 when I started my legendary term of leadership with the University of Oklahoma Housing Center (dorms).   James was the only other person within housing to even come close (but never surpassed) my level of leadership, charisma and charm *grin*
He shares my love of Playstation, japanese, comic books, superheroes, and general love of Sci-Fi and Fantasy.   He has recently moved to Texas to work for the Texas A&M University now that he has just recieved his masters Degree from OU.
James is one of the best friends I have ever had.  He has levels of honor, integrity and charisma that I have never seen in any one person before.   Some of my fondest memories are from the road trips and playstation escapades that we have ventured on.  Thank you James.
