This page is deciated to Magic Nursery Dolls which came out around 1989-1990. I don't
collect these dolls so I can not say much. I found myself buying them because they wore
My Child Doll's shoes, well re-issues actually since My Child dolls production ended I
believe, right before the Magic Nursery dolls were produced. The resemblance to My Child
Dolls is unmistakable in their body shape and facial features.
They came in three styles from what I have found, "Baby's First Teeth", "Baby's First Treat",
or "Baby's First Haircut." When you bought them MIB, they came in a unisex jumper so
you would not know if they were a girl or boy until you dipped their "magic" bib in water.
Below you will find photos of the dolls, I owned and see how their shoes are unmistakably
the same molding as My Child dolls. The way to tell these are not My Child originals is that
Magic Nursery Shoes were all made in CHINA as were the dolls.
As far as I know the only shoe colors I have seen for these dolls is: bright pink, light pink
(there were My Child shoes of these too - made in Hong Kong though), bright red, mint green,
bright yellow, white, and purple. The purple shoes seem to not have been dyed correctly as
they are spoltchy. This is the case with every pair I have bought. The shoe styles were the
same as MY Child, tennis and mary janes.

This is a Magic Nursery Baby. I don't know really anything about them. They also came in
shoes resembling My Child Dolls but as you can see they are much smaller, have a slightly
different flower on the front and won't fit MC dolls.

I have seen two colors of these shoes. Blue and Light Pink.
